A few months ago, by pure chance, we found ourselves at an incredible retreat led by our friend Justin Perkins. Justin had this amazing idea to bring together a group of strangers—people who had never met but were open to new ideas and experiences. What unfolded was beyond anything we could have imagined.

Through Justin’s skillful guidance and the collective energy of the group, a powerful momentum emerged—one that has never faded. From this retreat at the Bruderhof, a magical place nestled in the Black Forest, countless events, subgroups, and initiatives have taken root. Each has brought about extraordinary outcomes and fostered a deep sense of connection among everyone involved.

One of the clearest outcomes of this retreat is Frei, a project that is still in its early stages but already buzzing with potential. I am proud to be part of this initiative. Together, we’re building bridges—not just between people, but also between ideas, cultures, and visions for the future. We inspire one another, stay motivated, and are always pushing forward.

Frei isn’t just a project; it’s a movement born from the energy of the Bruderhof—a center of inspiration and collaboration in Europe. It’s our way of saying, “Stay tuned, this is only the beginning.”
